33 Acres

I like most of the breweries I've visited since we moved to Vancouver, but I love 33 Acres. It's an bright, clean space and has a visual palette of white, wood, and metal with some greenery thrown in.   Against my will, I make a deep connection with someone every time I'm there. Sometimes it's the staff, other times I wind up bonding with a stranger.


These were taken in the early afternoon of what became a bicycle brewery tour of different breweries in the East Van area.  It's too bad we started at 33 because it set the bar pretty high for all the other breweries.  We we pretty lucky that we didn't have to wait in line for an hour to get in on a Saturday afternoon.  The place is cheerfully packed on weekends.
